B2 The Leaf-Chronicle DAILY RECORD Wednesday, April 12, 2000 CALENDAR CRIME WATCH CRIME WATCH Woman By BRIAN DUNN The Leaf-Chronicle 1 A 31-year-old woman was robbed Monday evening at a Wilma Rudolph Boulevard store. The woman told Officer Derek Crow she was entering Wal-Mart Supercenter when a man grabbed her purse and began to fight her, the officer wrote in his report. The man dragged her to the ground and kicked her in the head several times, Crow wrote. A 17-year-old boy chased the suspect behind a nearby restaurant, where a driver was waiting with a car. The robber got away, but with no cash and few personal items.

Arrests James Raymond Goad, 36, who gave a 614 Rocky Hill Road address, was charged Monday with domestic aggravated assault. Bail was set at $75,000. Paul Norman. Rutherford, 22, who gave a 1670 Walter Road address, was charged Tuesday with evading arrest. Bail was set at $5,000.
