Chapter 2 (The Forest):
Only one entry choice will be given to you as you start the second chapter. This door will take you into some sort of a platform located upon a giant tree. Climb down the ladders on the left and you’ll find yourself in strange forest. Collect the saw you’ll find on the ground and then get back up through the ladder. Head to the bottom right where you’ll spot some plant cords. Click upon them and you’ll be accessed to go up. After climbing above to go the left side of the new area and use the saw to get a wood stick at the edge of the wooden bridge. Get the stick and go once back at the level you were previously. Fix the mechanism on the middle by putting the wooden stick on it. This will release the ladders to climb down at that point. Climb down and then climb again up through the ladders on the left side. You’ll collect a small shovel from there as well as you’ll receive a note:
“This world has been abandoned, like all the others. But unlike the underground city, here the signs of the runaway are all over the place. I am trying to figure out who these people were. Why did they flee and where did they go? A lot of questions. So far, i know that the tree, at the foot of which you are standing, consists of several levels. I will try to move on to the second level. Perhaps that strange mechanism in the ruins of the temple with the attached ropes form the first door will help me.”
Head right until you’ll find a door inside a cave at the end. Enter this door and pick up the key you’ll find in there. Climb the stairs you’ll see and solve the maze linked to the mechanisms. Tap upon each pattern until they form a yellow line and the gear starts to twirl. Go back outdoor and swipe once left, where you’ll climb the wooden ladders to get on the tree. Head left and adjust the ladders crank so you can go further above. Enter into the open door on the left and collect the note from the ground. When going back out, on the right side you’ll spot a large wooden platform that you need to make it functional by rotating it with the stick that you have. Now, walk back to where you found the key earlier and climb the ladders till the end. The ladders will be now fixed to lead you until the upper exit. Here you’ll find another key and another note:
“I am starting to understand the purpose of this forest. It is similar to a transfer station in some kind of global network of the worlds. Every tree in the forest has doors linked to each other. Inhabitants of the forest could probably manage them, provide access to those who are traveling across the worlds. Those doors are linked to thousands of different worlds. Incredible! ”
Go left to where the plant roots are located and climb up through them. Continue going left to the adjacent tree and then climb down one level. Push the lever down and then continue promptly on the left. Open the seemingly complicated door with the recently found key. As you enter you’ll be receiving another note which states:
“ It seems unlikely that the forest people created the doors. There are signs that they were just managing them, while the actual creators came from a different world. I see some similarities between the ruins of the temple and ceremonial constructions in the underground city. Apart from that, the same strange symbols are located all over the place. Seems like the forest people and the underground people honored the same powerful beings. Perhaps, those beings are the engineers, creators of the doors network? “
Here you’ll able to collect another valuable item in the form of an artifact. Now open the other door on the left to get out. Now, climb down to the very beginning. Go as left as you can to find the door with the skull above of it. To unlock the door you must decipher the pattern first. The proper adjustment is as the picture below shows:
You’ll enter a lab-like environment where you’ll instantly find a piece of gear you’ll need to collect. Then, put the artifact you found inside in one of the holes of the strange object in the middle. Now you can go back outside, where at the tree roots you’ll reveal another note that says:
“Brother, I am glad you followed me. You are currently standing on the threshold of an amazing new world, a forestworld. I hacked the local neurointerface and linked it to myself. It is some kind of a global network. One of the functions allows me to leave messages. The neurointerface is keyed to my DNA; since you are my twin, you should be able to access them as well. “
Now climb up until the very top of the tree (you’ve never been there) and then walk left where you’ll be able to open the apparently complicated door therein with one of the keys you already have. You’ll enter a hallway with red blocks on the wall and ladders to move up and down. Move one floor upstairs and here use detector you are equipped with to read the marks on the wall. This wall has a secret passage which you’ll open through pressing the bricks in the specified order. Enter the new location and get the blueprint button laying on the floor, which will be useful later at the entrance under the temple ruins. Entering the other room with the indication ‘794’ you’ll find a strange box next to the skeleton. The box has a switch which releases energy in order to solve the puzzle and open the box. Adjust the displayed symbols as the box demands, where each row must filled with its according symbols (as the image below shows) and the box will open. Take the key which is inside it and then go back at where you entered the red hallway. Enter the other door on the left, right next to the last one you entered and climb the stairs to move up. After getting out move on the left side to get the key hanging there. Then continue again on the right path and climb the ladder to move further up. The ladder will take you at the top of the tree and then move left to where you’ll find another key hanging on the branches of the big tree. Now go back to where you came from and continue on the right side of the door you recently explored (the apparently complicated one). Climb down the tiny steps on the tree to find yourself in front of another door. Enter here and use one of the just recently found keys to open the door in the middle first. Here you’ll discover another location where you’ll be getting another valuable item from the object that looks like a glazed vault. Solve the puzzle to open the vault and collect the item. It’ll be a easy one to open as you’ll only have to push its components to the left. Then enter the door to return to where you previously were. Now, enter and explore the first door on the left. This door will take you to a bizarre looking dessert. Swipe once left and use the shovel to discover the next entry out of the ground. This manhole will take you to a control panel where you’ll be able to collect another artefact as well as another valuable piece of gear. Push the buttons on the computer to evoke the arrival of a giant rock in the form of a room from the sky as well as another strange monument appearing on the right screen, next to the manhole. Add the piece you found ultimately down in the panel to the monument on the right and then get back to down to the panel to push the located lever down. This will cause the monument to produce a large ray. Now enter into the giant rock room. You’ll be travelling to a new location. As soon the door opens automatically, go outside and head right. You’ll receive a notice stating:
“Go down to the foot of the tree from the left side and open the metal door with a picture of a skull on it. Next you will enter the place where one of the most dangerous substances in the entire universe is kept. It is the colloidal jelly. Liquid that turns anything into a similar substance to itself. This jelly could become a weapon of a mass destruction, burning everything down to the densest layer of the soil. I’ve drawn you a blueprint of the lock where this is stored. It is hidden in the room with the three doors.”
Continue further on the right and collect the key from the closet on the right of the control panel. Now move back and insert the missing piece upon the mechanism which releases ray from above. Continue left and travel back to the foot of the tree through the teletransporting box. You’ll go down to the desolated place. Now, put the red button into its missing spot and wait for your haulage to end. As soon as you step out of the transportation box you’ll receive another note saying:
“ Signs on the wall of the crypt describe a powerful teamster race and their dogs. A long time ago, they came into the forest world. Local people were waiting for them, fearful of their arrival. The text is very vague, and difficult to decrypt.”
Walk right and collect the key you’ll find on the next screen. Continue further right and enter the door at the bottom right. This door will take you down at the tree roots. You’ll find yourself now in front of the three allegedly complicated doors. Go outside and climb up to the upper level of the tree. Enter on the left tricky door and walk through the stairs leading upstairs. As you go outside open the door on the left and enter. This entrance will take you to another multi-controlling panel room. Climb the small ladder to check on the above floor. Get the pyramid on the left and get back down. Now, turn back through the door on the left and continue downstairs. As you move outside continue on the right where you’ll be receiving another note:
“ I have been through several doors, visiting worlds where the forest people would go. My searches have already yielded some results. I know that the forest people have gone to a special place, called the refuge. They were trying to hide from something, something dangerous. It is till not clear to me what exactly it was. I must try to find the entrance to the refuge. “
Now, from right where you are climb down to the ground. Swipe right until you’ll spot a tunnel that sends you downwards. Here you’ll reveal a big pyramid right in the middle. Put the small pyramid you have over to activate the big pyramid. The stones will start moving and they’ll discover an entry. Get there and you’ receive another notification as you walk down:
“I decrypted the sign on the top of the tree. It says: The way to the refuge lies through the center of giant and the other side of the door. What could it possibly mean?”
Swiping on the right you’ll see a creature inside an on-running mechanism. Next to it, on the left, you’ll have to pick a small piece of hardware so that the machine shuts down. Now climb back up and move to the left side of the tree through the ladders on its left. Enter the room with the skull above and put the second missing artifact inside the facility. This will make the capsule move and free your way to go down through the ladders. But first you must go to where the transporting room is located and travel once again at the above level. As you’re landed add the missing piece to the the mechanism that releases the ray. Then, continue right and push the lever down at the control panel. Turn back to the transporting capsule to travel more aloft, at the surrounding where you can spot the moon. Move once right and then go down through the ladders into the following room. Press the small red button on the right and then the other one on the left. After that push also the other button on the bottom to activate the machine which is a bit far up. In this way you’ll unlock the lid in the middle to get the skull in there. Now turn back through the door on the right. Climb down and go on the left side of the tree roots, where the door with the skull is located. Enter there and then go down through the opened capsule to place the just found skull inside the device. The skull will be filled with a sort of liquid. Take back the skull and head in the upward direction. Continue through the tree ladders as much as they allow you where you’ll spot a standing implementation inside the tree with a skull drawing clue next to it. Insert the filled skull in there to activate the tree passages. The entrance just below will be available immediately after this. Go through it and enter the following door seeming like a vault. Solve the puzzle upon the blue wall bricks as below shown:
Now go back up and once you are outside climb once down through the on-tree ladder. Enter the only door on the left and touch the bricks on the wall as below.
An object will come out of the ground with a key symbol upon. It will need exactly 7 keys to be opened. Put the keys that you already have and grab the item that will come out from it. Turn back to where you entered through the door that was just opened and enter the other entrance above inside which leads you inside the tree’s body. Climb down through the ladders where you’ll receive another note saying:
“I’m on the finish line. I can feel the entrance to the refuge is somewhere near. I wish i could solve the secret behind the door with seven lamps.
From there continue through ladders on the right, right next to the single door standing there. Follow the path that will take you to another door on the bottom left. Enter this door that will take you to new surroundings. Climb the stairs here to where you’ll have another message from your missing brother:
“My dear brother. You have to follow me and travel to the new world. The forest people called it refuge. I hope that you will be able to reach me there and together we will find more answers. Good luck.”
This entrance will take you in front of a large blue capsule door. Put the item you’ve collected in it and it will give you the access to enter.
